Enfin arrivés à Samana aprés une bonne traversée de 26 heures au "put put". Éole devait faire la gréve car aucun vent et trés peu de vagues. Notre "put put" a fait une bonne job et nos quarts de 3 heures ont été assez faciles, c'était comme si on avait été à l'ancre sur une mer d'huile. Le passage Mona n'est pas si facile quand il vente fort.
Ici à la Marina Puerto Bahia c'est le paradis. Le tout pour usd1.00/pied. Eau illimité à $2.00 par jour.
Aussitot accosté, avec l'aide de trois gaillards car il faut attrapper au lasso des poteaux à l'arriére du bateau pour tout sécuriser, Pedro le maître de port et trois officiers (douane, police, et immigration, carte de touriste) se sont présentés au bateau pour faire les formalités. Tout s'est passé trés agréablemnent à bord de Coulicou. Nous leur avons offert un bon jus de mangue et payé les frais (usd94.00). Du fait d'être passé par Puerto-Rico nous n'avions pas besoin de "clearance paper".
La marina est super de luxe et trés propre, le personnel trés gentil. La sécurité est excellente.

We have customs and Immigration on site as well as many others facilities and services including fuel, electricity, water, garbage pickup, 24h security, navigation and weather information, free Wi-Fi available in the Marina and Lobby, laundry and ironing services as well as washing & drying machines.

Clearance:
We have a Navy officer at the Marina which inspect the boat at their arrival and receive the clearance paperwork from the previous harbor.
At your departure, if your destination is a Dominican harbor, the clearance document is free of charge but it is needed anyway (please ask for it in advance). If you leave to a foreign harbor, the Navy charges a fixed cost of US$20 to issue the new paperwork. If you are living at 6:00am it will be delivered 15 minutes before.
Immigration:
If you are coming from a foreign harbor, Immigration charges US$70 for the vessel, US$12 per person,US$10 per touristic card at your arrival. RD$ 1,500 per person in case of Enrollment or Disenrollment of crews members. When you leave to foreign harbor, they will just need to stamp your passports.(From and to a Dominican harbor, you do not need to report to Immigration)
