WEBESAILING - Éric et Annie ARRIVÉS À CAPE MAY

Départ de matin à 07h00 de Sandy Hook (NY) Les heures mentionnées par le "Spot" sont CDT


À 12h30 j'ai parlé à Annie sur Global Star et depuis le matin, les buoyweathers sont erronnés au niveau de la vague qui devait être ESE et qui est NNE - courte à environ 6 pieds - Tout l'avant-midi, le vent était plus fort que prévu... Présentement, le vent se calme entre 10 et 12 noeuds toujours du NNE avec vagues de la même direction; navigation inconfortable mais ils poursuivent leur route vers Atlantic City.

À 17 h 30 Éric et Annie me mentionnent qu'ils poursuivront leur navigation au delà d'Atlantic City. Ils ont analysé la météo pour les jours à venir et réalisent que s'ils arrêtent à Atlantic City, ils y demeureront certainement pour quelques jours car les systèmes se succèdent... Advenant qu'ils trouvent la mer trop courte et désagréable, ils ont prévu trois points d'arrêt, à savoir : Cape May, Cape Helopen et Ocean City - ce dernier est à quelque cent milles nautique de Norfolk. Je vais leur envoyer une météo revisée vers 21 heures.

ARRIVÉS à Cape May vers minuit trente - mer très inconfortable avec vagues hautes et courtes allant en augmentant. Ancrés près de la USCG.
