VOMO : Lise et Benoit ont visité les alentours de Scarborough (Tobago) en compagnie d'autres navigateurs; l'autobus local est d'un grand luxe - avec climatisation - et ce, pour la somme de 0,35$/pers.; ils ont monté jusqu'au Fort King George construit en 1780 par les Britaniques - panorama tout à fait splendide. Par la suite, ils ont fait le plein de quelques "bidons" de diesel au prix de 1,00$/gallon - Avec toutes ces économies, la moyenne de leur budget s'améliorera grandement :) - Aujourd'hui, les filles se rendront au landraumat puis se proposent de visiter un centre d'achat avec l'intention de "rétablir la moyenne du budget hi hi hi...
DAME DES MERS : Denis et Thérèse sont arrivés ce matin à 07h45 à Cape May après une très belle traversée de 20 heures. Ils se reposeront aujourd'hui et analyseront la météo pour remonter la baie du Delaware prochainement.

Second Attack on Cruisers this Month in Tobago
Noonsite.com is reporting a second attack on cruisers in Tobago this month. The
following comes from Martha Boston of s/v Lightheart:
Approximately 1:30 am on Sunday September 11, my husband Peter Branning and I were
asleep aboard s/v Lightheart, anchored in beautiful and remote Englishman's Bay,
Tobago, along with s/v Kookaburra, s/v Nouveau Jour, and s/v Dreams at Sea. We
were anchored about 150 yards from the beach, the closest of the four vessels.
It was a bright moonlit night, but it was also quite windy and rolly, so the boat
was very noisy. The boat was very dark inside, and the moonlight in the cockpit
backlit the companionway. Peter had gotten up to go to the toilet, and he almost
bumped into a man standing near the companionway, about 12 feet from the forward
cabin where we sleep.
