Objet : After Hurricane Michael at DYC
We hope you are all well and safe.
The Tropical Storm effects of Hurricane Michael traveled through Middlesex County, Va. Last night 10/11/18.
Today the sun is shining with breezy conditions in Deltaville.
DYC internet and phones were restored to use at 1 pm.
Electric lines were damaged in Deltaville, leaving DYC without power. No time has been mentioned for restoration of power. Power crews are busy all over the area.
We are thankful to report no significant damage at Deltaville Yachting Center.
We have performed routine dock and boatyard checks.
We encourage boat owners to check over your individual vessels and let DYC know if repairs are needed.
Our service team is in recovery mode and have hooked up temporary power to bathrooms to assist our boaters as they visit to check on their boats.
The DYC office is now able to receive calls and emails as needed.
